My wasp has reached 80 at last (you can just see the end of the ding animation on that picture) and I've taken her to a heroic Violet hold where I found her dps to be somewhat less than I normally expect from my sporebat. Presumably this is because I normally get to see aoe damage from my sporebat and violet hold is just trash after trash. Also sting does somewhere between half and a third of the damage that sporecloud does even on single targets, presumably this is because dots gain favourably from spellpower?The guild is getting organised, forums have sprung up, we now have 2 set Naxx groups of which I'm in group 2. Apparently there's going to be raids all week, Monday-Tuesday as a get to know each other session and then Wednesday onwards were actually going to be trying to tear down the walls of the place. For some reason I've been put int he group with 2 retridins, so if they are active enough I'll consider losing hunting party (le gasp!), no point wasting talent points if other people are already bringing the same buff after all. That or try to get someone transferred to group 1 (who has no-one with replenishment).
So my mission for today, should I choose to accept it, is to look up the strats for all the naxx 10 fights, I've already done about a quarter of the place so it shouldn't be too bad. Lets just hope I'm a better dancer in game than in RL

Just heard you on BRK podcast this morning and thought i would come past and see the blog.
Im debating wether to level my rogue, start a hunter or make a DK.
DK seems to be winning but i may well become a hunter alt and ask advice.
Consider going to your group one. I used to raid BM. We have a couple of SPriests and Retadins that would raid with us regularlly. Lately they have disappeared.....I am I stuck learning how to play a survival hunter. There are not enough mana batteries around. Just my two cents, for what ever it is worth.

I'd rather go MM over BM, its just my personal choices on the way the speccs play, I'm quite used tot he MM style of rapid firing with readiness, after all it used to be our trick *grumble grumble...*
Gonna see what I can do about the groups, its only the start of our official group settings so things are still up to change.

There was a bug pre-3.0.8 whereby wasps were not receiving the +10% damage bonus applied to Ferocity pets. That was fixed in 3.0.8 so I'd give her another go, you may get more production out of her. (Then again, after the pet nerfs, it may not seem like much of a gain...)
