... it makes little sense and can keep you distracted for far too long!
Sooo.... me... making a post... yeah I remember how to do that, to quote a line in my IT project "...clicked in the text box and typed to add text"
So whats new for me? I've been a little overrun with life, college and generally not playing wow, (in fact I canceled my automatic renewal which means my account will close! Okay it'll close in June, and by then I'll probably have more time to play and so renew it... all in all that wasn't exactly the shocking news it could have been).
I've just had a situation where there's always something that needs doing, indeed I'm currently starting to research for my final piece of coursework for the year, and when its not college work that's taking up my time its the wonderful drama that we have, you see the thing about an adult course is you have lots of different people over a large age range, from young mothers to a 50-year old gay man (He's single if Antone's interested, I can set you up!). From ex-models to a foreign woman who doesn't quite seem to understand that in England women have equal rights to men.
Yes these are the people who I spend a large amount of my life with, it makes all those gnomes and trolls look normal! And these people are keeping me busy, for once I actually have something resembling a social life, I'm almost-kinda-sort of dating a man who's hair reminds me of a sheep. Oh and the driving force between this post is that tonight I've found out one of my better friends at college has had a miscarriage and I really don't know what to say/do about that, especially as I didn't even know she was pregnant in the first place.
So this post, really, is to say 1) sorry for not posting 2) Don't expect a lot of posting soon and 3) especially don't expect a lot of WoW posts.
Oh and if someone could stab a gnome for me? would be great, thanks, I do miss it so!

well Lienna, we've missed you, but RL should definitely take a precedence. Good luck and take care of yourself!
Sorry to hear about your friend, this thing happens, but the best thing you can do is to be there, listing and say the right thing. Most of all try and make her laugh and smile.
Laughter and smiles cost nothing but goes a long way.
As for WOW, it will still be there. Real life comes first, enjoy your sheep hair man. LOL :)
Take care of RL first and WoW will come in time! GL and we will look forward to reading whatever you post whenever you have time.

Yay! IT'S, I MEAN, YOUR ALIIIIIVE! lol It's nice to hear from you Lienna.
Sadness to hear about your friend, especially if this was her first pregnancy. I never know what to say or do in these types of situations either. It sounds like things are really busy though. Hang in there at work and school, I guess just be there for your friend in need, and relax when you can with your new squeeze. I'll still be checking every day to see if anything is new. :)
Real life always wins. So don't feel guilty about not playing a game. As to your friend, there is no usual gesture, so just being available is enough. Also, for what it's worth, miscarriage is very common. We acknowledge that we are miserable about the loss of that potential and hope, then we try again.
Thanks everyone for the well-wishes, especially the anonymous, it warms my heart to find a post on the internet from someone who doesn't even give a name... saying something positive.
Makes me think there might be hope for the human race yet!
